Man shot and killed in parking lot at Meijer store on Indianapolis' northwest side

A man was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Meijer store on Indianapolis' northwest side Saturday evening.  Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 5300 of Pike Plaza Road around 8:15 p.m. for a physical altercation. When they arrived, they found a man in his 30's dead in the Meijer parking lot. His identity has not been released.  Witnesses told police that two were arguing inside the store and it spilled out into the parking lot where the shooting took place.  Police detained a suspect at the scene and he was arrested for his alleged involvement. His identity has not been released.
