Making Chicken McNuggets at home AND The Sweet & Sour Sauce

Obviously, McDonald's Chicken McNuggets are a universally loved food item. What does it take to make them? I decided to find out the hard way by making a batch myself. Of course, you must have dipping sauces for this so I made the Sweet and Sour as well. That is WAY easier than you'd think and the recipe was a little tricky to come by. THERE IS NO MUSTARD IN THE SAUCE!!! Enjoy!

Sweet and Sour Sauce
2 tbsp Corn Syrup
2 tbsp Apricot Preserves
1 tbsp Peach Preserves
1 tbsp Water, wet
2 tsp Distilled Vinegar
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Corn Starch
1/4 tsp Xanthan Gum
1/4 tsp Granulated Garlic
1/8 tsp Chili Powder
1/8 tsp Onion Powder
1/8 tsp Red Wine Vinegar

Slurry
1 cup Water
1/4 cup Corn Starch

Dry Dredge
1 cup AP Flour
1/4 cup Yellow Corn Flour
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp MSG
1 tsp White Pepper
1 tsp Paprika

Tempura Batter
1/2 cup Corn Starch
3/4 cup AP Flour
1 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
2 Eggs
1 cup Chilled Water
