UAC resumed the flight test program of the Ilyushin Il-114-300

The aircraft was flown by a crew consisting of the aircraft commander, chief pilot, Honored test pilot of the Russian Federation Sergei Sukhar, Honored test pilot of the Russian Federation Igor Zinov and flight test engineer 1st class Oleg Gryazev. The flight lasted 40 minutes and took place at altitudes of up to 900 m and at a maximum speed of 230 km/h.

During the tests, the stability and controllability of the aircraft was checked, as well as the stable operation of Russian systems and equipment, most of which was produced by the enterprises of the Rostech State Corporation.
The crew commander reported that the flight went smoothly, that the systems and equipment functioned properly and that the flight program was completed. Before the start of flights, the aircraft underwent a series of ground tests: tests were carried out in the workshop and on the airfield. Taxiing and high-speed runs were also performed as part of the flight test program.

“The resumption of the flight test program is an important step towards creating a new regional transport aircraft. We are connecting the second experimental machine to flights. The aircraft is designed for operation, even in difficult climatic conditions.
