Tutankhamun and the cup of eternal life

The treasures unearthed during the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922 are mind-blowing in their richness. But there were other ritual artefacts too that elucidate the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. One such item - a holy grail before the notion of such a thing was ever formed by Arthurian writers and scholars - is the chalice known as the Wishing Cup or Lotus Chalice.
