Blastberry Vine launches 5 bomblets. (+1 bomblet on levels 5 and 9.)
Blastberry Vine's bomblets does 15 damage. (+10 damage per level.)

Commentary:
Some vines are defensive: Pumpkins.
Some vines boost the plants inside them: Shine Vine, Gloom Vine, Pea Vine.
Here we have a vine which is strictly offensive in nature and does not care which plant is inside of it.
Many plants only target single zombies (Peashooter) or just a few (Bloomerang, Lightning Reed).
A few can target every plant in a lane. (Laser Bean, Jalapeno)
Blastberry Vine is one of the few plants which has a multiple Area of Effect attack.
That trait makes this plant worth considering.

Bottom Line:
Having played with this plant, it just seems a little under-performing. It costs a little too much. The damage is a little too light. But then again, it is a vine and one is paying for the space savings.

That said, there is a use case for this plant: Endless zones. The hordes of zombies will get soften up by these bomblets landing on them so that other plants can finish them off.
