Experience the enchanting beauty of early autumn with Peregrine Trails. Embark on a serene gravel bike ride along the picturesque Hutt River (Te Awa Kairangi). A bright sunny afternoon adorned with blue skies and white fluffy clouds, journeying from Heretaunga Park, Upper Hutt all the way up to the tranquil Te Marua Plateau.

On this scenic route, encounter the breathtaking recreation area of Te Marua, with its charming eucalyptus trees providing a peaceful backdrop. Plunge into the darkness of the iconic Mangaroa Tunnel, leading out to a sweeping descent, and a meandering route through to Maymorn. Finally, return to base via Birchville and Tōtara Park.
