THE PERFECTING OF THE CHURCH: Why So Many Exposures & Critical Judgements In This Season Of The Church.Show more

Just a short time ago anyone who wanted to could be a prophet through social media. The standards were so low, I personally believe that it may have been a gift of encouragement but certainly not prophecy. The line of demarcation was very fuzzy and truthfully many who truly functioned prophetically just held words back. It was a season where every echo was heard bouncing off the walls of the vast cavern called "prophecy" which had been void of Spirit-born words and which were not appropriately judged be "the others" (1 Cor 14:29). The "fruit" of the pandemic gave rise to many speaking and filling the airwaves with what they "perceived" and "conjectured" in the countless hours spent at home. Some truly saw their "rise" in ministry from the pandemic... some with greater charisma, biblical knowledge and ability to articulate quickly became known as "social media prophets." Many had not ever "prophesied" but were greatly encouraged to encourage others with words that may have been thoughts, narratives, and appealing scenarios, but so many missed the mark of true prophecy and little was "judged by the others" of The Church.

And then... things blew up in the Kansas City House Of Prayer (IHOP) with a plethora of allegations and in the process both new and old "prophetic individuals" would be judged and accurately "called on the carpet" for both false or faked prophetic words as well as hideous hidden sin and vices. I believe this imploded at IHOP KC because in great measure they first released prophets to the stream that most of those who are reading this would be a part of into the culture of the Church. Others began to be exposed as well, beyond IHOP, in movements and itinerants that had enjoyed favor. Some were caught in the act...others were impaled by close friends and even family. The "gift" of judging words was about to make it's debut...not to shame or stop the Prophetic but rather to establish a foundation of the "Fear of the Lord" in the delivery of prophetic words. True prophesy must contain a supernatural element beyond a cognitive understanding. True prophesy is Holy, it's in fact Jesus testifying through an individual. It cannot nor be contrived, hyped or embellished (particularly from those who research plausible facts from the internet, conversations, or social media). It's holy and as such demonstrates the very invasion of Jesus into a meeting, to individuals or groups. When someone does that they bring the whole of their character under a blasphemous reality which could literally bring their very salvation into question. Integrity is everything in the realm of prophesy. I believe this current exposure is not too diminish the gift of prophesy, which we are told to desire, but to clean it up so"The Word of The Lord" is once again birthed from the "Fear of The Lord." It should be The Fear of The Lord" that both provokes us to speak what He's speaks through us and also prevents is from speaking when it's simply our desire to be somebody... to be recognized or known... to establish our ministry and platform in the eyes of people, followers, social media or leaders in the Body of Christ. The ONLY one to be regarded through ANY of the gifts of The Spirit is Him, not us. To seek differently is not only pathetic but also profane and sacrilegious.

This current exposure is not negative. None of it. It's resetting the "bar" and standard by which words should be judged, whether past, present or future. When I've facilitated " The Prophet's Chamber" (a training in the prophetic for those who function in some regard with that gift flowing through them) the first element was to find false or exaggerated word from a known prophetic voice. The overwhelming response from these students was "I don't want to do that. I don't want to criticize these men or women of God." My response was that they shouldn't ever prophesy if that's what they believed because a genuine prophetic word must be judged, and if it's wrong or unbiblical it's to be discarded or held fora later date. Remember, Isaiah had prophetic words about Jesus that would take six hundred years to be correct as with other prophecies regarding the future.

This exposure is separating truth from error in many realms. Some have invested resources, energy and time for decades and some may feel that they've been deceived and may actually opt out of churches and ministries not realizing this is the best time to be a part of what God is doing... it's in fact the beginning of Awakening. When sin is exposed... when blasphemy is recognized... repentance follows for many. Some, whose hearts have grown calloused, may refuse this kindness of The Lord, but many will turn back to the foundational Biblical doctrines and teachings of the Church Jesus wants in the earth. So this is Good News!

To those who've suffered at the hands, or voices, cultures, leaders and systems, my heart breaks for you. You've walked through much, but your prayers and the promises that God made to you about being vindicated is happening. I fully understand your reticence to trust again, but I do believe in this hour the "real" will be revealed and the trust issues will diminish in the face of Jesus revealing Himself powerfully, supernaturally, truthfully and full of integrity to not only you but all the world.

It's time to call fake, fake. It's time to call evil, evil. It's time to call blasphemy, blasphemy. And it's time to call all those things that have been deception, abuse, false and wicked, exactly what they are.

Welcome to the Church where lying and deceiving the Body of Christ could result in death and where exposure, truth and purity will usher in "The Fear Of The Lord" will be the standard and where the number of dollars in your bank account, charisma and ability to sound and speak perfectly. Where hype, seeker sensitive gatherings, radio quality worshipand huge audiences won't demonstrate who is following Jesus, but rather those who don't regard those things but who have Jesus at the center of their lives and who respond as brothers and sisters in biblical love and grace and who carry the power of the Holy Spirit everywhere they go.

I just received a call from a friend asking me about "The Membrane" word because something of seemingly great significance is happening in a local church there... Particularly as it relates to "The Baby" and " The Membrane".

Here is the Membrane word from June 2020... which I received about ten years ago.

"While most of us know we have been on the "cusp" of the Greatest Awakening to ever occur. I believe it's the "Sign of Jonah" which resulted in the "whole city turning to the Lord" ... there is always a human element called "free will" that can "miss the day of visitation" if we allow our hearts to become hard. A few years ago I watched in a vision a huge screen where a "sound wave file" grew from the right to left across the screen. The intensity about four feet from the end of this hundred foot screen was huge, angry, loud.... and it seemed to push against something that would bend in under the pressure and then fall back at least halfway on the screen. It happened over and over. I asked the Lord during the vision what is preventing it from getting all the way to the end of the screen. He said, "It's a membrane. There has never been a generation that has broken through the membrane. When the pressure increases to that intensity, they back down and fall back into doing the religious things and we wait for another generation to rise. All of Creation is waiting for that generation to rise." I asked him what happens when the membrane breaks. He said, "Everything happens Danny, everything!"
