Chords, Triads & Progressions: For Beginner & Intermediate Guitarists

Hello everyone. Welcome to the South!

In today's video, we're going to take one chord, The Gadd9, and we're going to do a deep dive on it.

We'll also look at how to calculate the proper chord degrees based off your chosen Root Note/Chord to build out a proper chord progression.

Then....I'll show you how to choose & construct some of those chords to build out a progression that flows & resolves. We'll build a simple chord progression that anyone can play and manipulate.

You can then use your new progression to build out a song......or you can save it in your Loop Pedal or your DAW, where you can practice your solo work in real time....anytime you want! Super helpful!!

The Triads portion should really help you with your movement around the fretboard, as this can allow you to play different voicings of the same chord in different positions around the neck, as well as easily figure out Inversions & Alternate Chords.
