On this day in 1976, six Palestinian-Israelis were killed by Israeli forces for protesting against plans to sieze their lands.

Illegal settlements have been expanding more rapidly in the occupied West Bank during the war on Gaza.

Earlier this month, far-right Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the seizure of 10 square kilometres, mostly in the Jordan Valley.
