There Are Too Many "Nature Kevins"

Welcome back to Kringe Against Humanity. I’m MrBlack and today we simply must talk about the people out there that one might consider over confident animal lovers. Now I love animals but I’m under no illusion that they’re all gentle, innocent, and harmless. The moment you start to paint every animal in this light you start to lose sight of just how unpredictable they can be.

My whole life I’ve grown up around our furry friends but I’ve never been stupid enough to pretend that nothing bad can happen when you drop your guard around an animal, especially but certainly not limited to wild ones.

Now I’m sure we’ve all seen videos of over confident animal lovers, often trained professionals, slipping up and ending up in terrible situations normally due to arrogance, carelessness, or both. This can be scary, cringy, and funny all at the same time. I’ve also often wondered what exactly I could call these people that would sum up what they are, and through my pondering, I’ve finally coined a term “Nature Kevins”.

Now it only makes sense to start with what is potentially the first truly viral Nature Kevin video on the internet. It’s not the most dangerous animal malfunction on our list today but it’s certainly one for the record books. This Nature Kevin’s real name is Carl Pritchard and if you were surfing the web in 2006, you may remember Pinky The Cat.
