Crown Him with Many Crowns - Easter Hymn with Lyrics

When I was a little girl going to church on Easter Sunday with my family, this song was always the one that felt like EASTER to me, especially when we were lucky enough to sing it with pipe organ accompaniment! Now it feels so surreal that somehow I am the musician playing the pipe organ- it's amazing how fast life goes!
I hope this rendition of the classic Easter Hymn uplifts you this Easter season, and hope you enjoy the glorious sunrise that I was blessed to be able to capture just a few weeks ago! God's creation is so glorious!

A blessed Holy Week and Happy Easter to you!

Here's sheet music for my original Easter song, a proclamation for Easter Sunday! Sheet Music available here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/en/product/he-is-risen-easter-proclamation-22476988.html

Lyrics:

Crown him with many crowns,
the Lamb upon his throne.
Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns
all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing
of him who died for thee,
and hail him as thy matchless king
through all eternity.

Crown him the Lord of life,
who triumphed o'er the grave,
and rose victorious in the strife
for those he came to save;
his glories now we sing
who died and rose on high,
who died eternal life to bring,
and lives that death may die.

Crown him the Lord of love;
behold his hands and side,
rich wounds, yet visible above,
in beauty glorified;
no angels in the sky
can fully bear the sight,
but downward bends their wondering eye
at mysteries so bright.

Crown Him Eternal King
His mysteries make known
Here raise all voices now to sing
His Love and power alone
All hail, Redeemer, hail!
for thou hast died for me;
thy praise shall never, never fail
throughout eternity.
