I. The Resurrection of the Messiah  - Micah 2:12-13
* A. His death as substitutionary atonement was prophesied - Daniel 9:26
* B. For the King to lead His people He must rise from the dead

II. The Conspirators - Matthew 28:11-15
* A. Their concocted story was false - Matthew 28:4
* 1. These soldiers would have been executed for failure on duty
* 2. The fact that they were alive reveals the lie
* B. The evidence is rock solid regarding the events that took place
* 1. The fact that Jesus was crucified, His death was certain
* 2. The fact that Christ’s body was not in the tomb
* 3. The “cocoon” of Christ’s burial remained in the tomb - John 20:3-8
* C. Multiple non-biblical, even hostile sources testify to these facts
