When one gets emotional about a certain investment or asset class, in my opinon they often times lose sight of the reality of things. Let's talk about that so we can make wise choices. We have long been told that when a "conservative" is in office, metals don't perform as well as under a liberal. I found this SHOCKING to say the least!! Well, I followed the charts. Other than Reagan (who was anit 2A like Trump" it has proven exactly the opposite to my surprise. Check it out. Did you know, ( I just looked), gold closed at $1296.50 in 2017, and $1895.10 in 2020 during the Trump admin? I'd say it still did pretty well when Trump was in office.
