Electrolysis
Finding that aluminum boats are completing circuit to ground. The boat has to be grounded back to the battery.
Never use your boat as ground, any accessory!
- Will short electrical system
Slowly eats the boat, wont see it happen but will show up as electrolysis

Anodes
Zinc anode is effective, need to replace every year
Aluminum anodes are just as effective but last twice as long.
- Prevents corrosion and electrolysis
