Battle of Cerro Gordo 1847 "Anaconda vs. Eagle"

Gen. Winfield Scott vs. Gen. Santa Anna first battle between the heavy weights during the Mexican American War. Scott was able to out flank the Mexican army of the East and capture 3000 soldiers.
