Over 40+ years of executive and technology management experience architecting and leading large, award-winning projects. Implemented solutions including business intelligence, documents and records management, and line-of-business applications. Within Microsoft I helped lead the Worldwide and US Technical Communities Documents and Records Management (DRM) Special Interest Group, was active in the Enterprise Strategy Technical Community as an Enterprise Architect and frequently spoke at technical conferences on IT Strategy and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) subjects. I have a history in business process re-engineering, document imaging and workflow projects.

As a Nationwide System Architect, I was responsible for a suite of applications that generated $2 Billion dollars of revenue.

The Nationwide team of System Architects performed Cloud Planning efforts to analyze the portfolio of applications and develop a roadmap to move to the AWS Cloud. We provided Architecture Decisions, Project Estimation and Solution Architecture as a basis for projects to execute on a three-year roadmap journey of moving all applications to the cloud. These efforts require significant cross team collaboration with all IT and Business Stakeholders.

While at BCBSAZ I led a team effort to establish an Application Portfolio Management practice to catalog the enterprise portfolio of applications & technologies. Our 1st year efforts resulted in a 99.6% compliance for desired information gathering. I managed the cross-team collaboration process to ensure this effort would be successful. This baseline formed the basis of Enterprise Architecture management of Application & Technology currency, capability management and significantly improved the IT Disaster Recovery process.

At Microsoft I provided Enterprise Architecture, IT Architecture & Planning, IT Governance, Portfolio Management, Value Studies, Business IT Alignment, Benefits Dependency Networks, Value Realization Projects, Business Transformation and Application Rationalization.
