A Prayer for Healing from the Consequences of Sin - Psalm 39

David has set up a system of 24/7 worship in the presence of God with nearly 300 people, mostly fathers, sons and grandsons, to write and sing songs in the place of worship. David writes a song and hands it off to one of his key worship leaders - “I think this is a pretty good one!” Following Psalm 38 dealing with the painful consequences of sin, this is a song praying for healing from those consequences.
