RAW: Cargo ship loses power, crashes into the Baltimore Bridge

A massive container ship, the Dali, lost power shortly after leaving the port of Baltimore. The crew onboard desperately attempted to regain control, but the vessel was adrift and powerless. At around 01:30 (05:30 GMT), a mayday call was issued, warning of an imminent collision. Despite authorities stopping traffic on the Francis Scott Key Bridge, the Dali slammed into a concrete column, causing the bridge to collapse into the Patapsco River. Six people, presumed to be members of a road crew, are missing and feared dead due to the water temperature and time elapsed.
