Sterling Heights police report two incidents of children left in cars

Police have reported two instances of child neglect in Sterling Heights involving mothers leaving children in cars. In one instance on March 16, a caller advised that a child was sleeping in an unattended vehicle in the Meijer parking lot. The car wasn't running and the driver's door was unlocked, police said.
