At the time of the first Passover the calendar that was used was purely solar and the dates of Passover never changed but today they can vary as much as an entire month. In the age of information why can’t the modern Church get this right? The answer is alarming to me. They just don’t think it’s that important. In my mind it’s just as easy to get it right as it is to get it wrong. The general attitude of the church is that of compromise and comfort and not spirit and truth.

The date of Passover is given in the Word of God many times. Also, the way in which Christians should gage time is as well. Prophesies given to the children of God are given in days and prophesies given in regards to satan are given in nights or moons. “Lunatic” is a derivative of the word “lunar” and anybody who works at a hospital in health care will tell you when the moon is full the crazies come out of the woodwork.

How ironic; the modern church determines the date of one of the most important holidays based on the cycles of the moon completely contrary to the instruction of God in His Word. Is it any wonder the Church is in a state of apostasy and freefall?

The real issue is, how does the Father see it?
First of all the modern church does a bait and switch with Passover and easter. They claim there is 3 days between Friday and Sunday calling Friday Good Friday, Friday being the crucifixion and Sunday the resurrection.

Effectively replacing Jesus Christ with the easter bunny and on Christmas the birth of Jesus Christ with Santa Clause and his reindeer. Both are the “golden calves” of our time.

2 Chronicles 13:8 And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there are with your golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.

Christ was the Passover Lamb and he was crucified on Nisan the 14th or April 3rd not a date chosen by man but by God. He was resurrected 3 days later on Nisan the 17th or April 6th. Good enough is not good enough for God, the dates are set in stone and not to be tampered with. Easter is not Passover and Passover is not easter. Why not just call it Passover and celebrate it on the right day?

Here is how confused the modern church is; they call Passover easter and they call good Friday the crucifixion. The Passover was held right before the crucifixion which was on the same day the 14th of Nisan. Jesus was the Passover Cedar. The resurrection was 3 days later.

Calling the crucifixion Good Friday is an oxymoron. Passover has nothing to do with easter or Good Friday, they are purely the traditions of men which make void the Word of God. Any person in their right mind knows there are not 3 days between Friday and Sunday.

To the world all of this makes no sense and they scoff at Christians who believe rabbits lay eggs and there are 3 days between Friday and Sunday. Not to mention the fact that the Holiday is on a different date every year. Rabbits represent fertility and multiplication and are often the brunt of jokes. Such as; you have 2 rabbits one week and 3 weeks later you have 50. All of this symbolism plays into the goddess of fertility, Ishtar.

The egg is symbolic of the same meaning; fertility and increase. To add insult to injury they send their kids out on Ishtar egg hunts. What on earth does any of this have to do with Passover?

Christ was the Passover Lamb so why would you call it easter? See how confused they are? You can’t just pull a rabbit out of a hat and call the High Holy Day anything you want or celebrate it at any time of the year you want. God punished the children of Israel for doing the same thing. The prescribed time and day is set in stone. It is immutable according to God. Easter aint got nothing to do with the Passover or Good Friday for that matter.

Exodus 12:27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

The 14th day of Nisan. Nisan the first is the first day of spring, the equivalent to our March 20. Two weeks or 14 days from then is the Passover which is April 3rd. (April 2nd this year because of leap year)
The best way to look at the meaning or etymology of a word is to look at the actions or deeds associated with the word itself. All of the earlier versions of the word Easter are associated with the worship of false gods no matter what you call it. You can claim the etymology of the word easter is incorrect but you can’t distance it from the deeds associated with it.

What is sad is the modern church imitates all deeds done by the heathen of old who participated in Grove worship and don’t realize the word Easter represents grove worship and sexual perversion. The word easter is associated with the worship of false gods and should never be used during Passover.

Groves-Green Trees-High Hills All symbolic of sexual perversion.
If you’re not making the connection to idolatry you’re missing the point.
The rabbit, eggs, baskets, the coloring of the eggs and sunrise services, all represent one form or another of idolatry and taken in by the modern church. All are symbols of fertility and grove worship on every high hill and under every green tree.

It’s all the things the modern church does on easter that connects it to grove worship. The queen of heaven the goddess of fertility and increase is basically found in the word easter. They get the times and seasons wrong, they call it the wrong name and to top it off they worship other gods on the High Holy Day of Christianity.

When children participate in easter egg hunts they are imitating ancient grove worship which is nothing more than a sexual orgy held in the groves. In OT times the tradition was to run around in a grove of trees, naked, early in the morning after worshiping the sun. Next, they all had sex with anything that moved including children. The rabbit the eggs the name “Easter” itself all point to the worship of the god of fertility; Ashteroth. This is the true etymology of the word Easter, like it or not, words have meanings.

When you combine the etymology of the word easter and connect it with the actions and practices done by the modern church on the Passover, reflect back on what they did long ago and then look at today, it’s still being practiced to this day.

Excuses of the modern church pastors
The excuse I hear all the time is; we’re not thinking about grove worship or the Phoenician love goddess during easter we’re celebrating the resurrection. Or? We can celebrate it at any time we want and the dates aren’t that important just so long as we celebrate it.

This is what YHVH thinks about His Holy days being celebrated on the wrong date and being called by the wrong name. You can't just "appoint' your own times and seasons and expect the Lord to accept your worship.

Never use the moon for a timepiece which is exactly what modern church does

One other thing I hear is that Passover is a Jewish holiday and not Christian. Who did Christ die for? Of course this is utter nonsense, Christ died for all and Passover is exclusively for Christians, Jews and gentiles alike if they believe. Christ was the Passover Cedar.
Look at Exodus 12:27 and Leviticus 23:5 closely, they are the LORDS Passover, not yours or mine.
Ezekiel 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
This should raise up a red flag in your mind and bring a new meaning to the “sunrise service”.

Why would the translators transliterate pashca to Passover 28 times in the NT and then translate it once in Acts 12:4 to Easter? It is intentional deception… just as many of the secular accounts of the etymology of the word are all based on false and misleading historical accounts instead of the Biblical account. The manuscripts give me all of the history I need to connect the queen of heaven to Ishtar and easter.
