TacMed Simulation at Arctic Edge 2024

ur TacMed Simulation team was invited to support the AE24 (Arctic Extreme) Joint Medical event where training units test new experiential technologies and methodologies IAW (In Accordance With) instruction from Experiment team to aid in closing capability gaps in arctic medicine.

The teams identified challenges with mobile medicine/surgical functions in the extreme cold environment and provide hands on experience to establish arctic considerations for patient treatment options, stabilization, and multi-modal movement. This event tested limits for medical experiments and tactics in arctic conditions. The training site was at JBER, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, AK.
