Alpaca dies of rabies, Colorado pet and livestock owners concerned for their pets

An alpaca in Douglas County died of the disease in mid-March. Veterinarian, Dr. Signe Balch told Denver7 that “contact with wildlife” was the short answer for what caused the deadly infection.
