Residents of Yiwu County, Zhejiang Province were hit by squally winds, heavy rain and hail. The wind speed exceeded 32.7 m/s, the highest category 12 on the Boffort scale.
Massive egg-sized hailstones shattered car windows.
A supermarket camera captured the moment a gust of wind tore off the supermarket door and destroyed the sales area, damaging windows and goods.
Some people were injured by large hailstones.
Climate is changing due to 12,000 year cycle.
