Donatello, (Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi), c. 1386 – 1466, was Italian sculptor of the Renaissance. Arturo Galansino, the director of Florence’s Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, described Donatello saying, "Donatello isn't an artist, he's a universe."
