Deaths of Burlington mom, young son considered double homicide

A woman and her young son were found dead in their apartment Wednesday morning. Both had apparent gunshot wounds. The Boone County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case as a double homicide. Kelli Kramer, 31, and Aiden Kramer, 9, were found at the Allen Creek Apartment complex, 5900 Peoples Lane, at about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday. Kelli Kramer worked at a Starbucks in Florence, Kentucky. Her son was a fourth-grader at Burlington Elementary.
