As Americans, It Is Our Job To Question Those In Authority

As American’s, it’s our job. It’s our responsibility. We the people are all that stands between “leaders” and total tyranny. Ben Franklin is reported saying “It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority”. He’s right. He’s saying don’t let people with a self fulfilling agenda smother you with propaganda, restricting your individual liberty, all while enhancing theirs. We’ve seen a lot of that lately.
Questioning, the simplest form of rebellion, keeps an agenda in check. It maintains a healthy balance of rules and liberty. It’s our job as Americans. We’ve overcome a lot as a country, it all stems from a questioning majority overwhelming the agendas of a few.
