Baltimore Bridge EXPLOSION?

Despite the "fact checkers" 🙄 there appears to be an explosion at one of the breaking points on the bridge at the time of impact, especially towards the end of the video. Electrical or something else?

Something does not seem right about this, and I simply do not buy "it was an out of control boat." There are way too many questions surrounding this.
1. Why didn't they drop anchor when they started having trouble

2. Why were they not in the channel to begin with. If the boat suddenly lost power, it would have been in the channel loosing power, would it not?

3. Why didn't they radio in to alert the bridge workers so they could evacuate the bridge, and or close the bridge to additional traffic?
