Having a good posture helps to prevent backache and neckache. Having a bad posture, especially one that develops in early life, can put strain on the vertebrae in our spine and lead to disease and illness in later life. This can be made worse if we do a job where we sit for hours at a desk or are hunched over. When we find ourselves slumped over, we can be mindful of the Alexander Technique and sit up straight. Let's take a look.
