RUSSIA: Teenage heroes who saved hundreds during Moscow attack receive official awards

15-year-old Islam Halilov and 14-year-old Artem Donskoy gained official state commendations for their heroic display during the massacre on Friday.

The teenagers worked part-time shifts at the venue when the attack took place, and both of them were able to open emergency exits and escort hundreds of people out of the building.

Russia’s Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova presented the commendations to the young men.
