Reading old adventure books

I've been reading these old adventure books, mainly written in the 1920s to 1950s, detailing the exploits of travelers exploring (then) remote lands. Crazy stories set in impossibly remote places and strange people risking it all for the mere experience of it. This one is about Henri de Monfreid, but there are a lot of these online as many are out of copyright and otherwise forgotten.
