I'm pretty familiar with GPS. I know you can practically push a button and an airliner with internal GPS maps can taxi to the runway, take off, fly across vast oceans, land, taxi to the gate, and the pilot shuts down the engines, after they wake up of course.

Ships can probably do the same. They say cars and trucks will be self-driving soon as well. However, for every advancement there is a negative consequence or possibility. When it comes to GPS location and travel, the hack is called "spoofing." My online Webster's Dictionary has this definition: "hoax or trick (someone): they proceeded to spoof Western intelligence with false information.
• interfere with (radio or radar signals) so as to make them useless: that meant that the Americans might not be able to jam or spoof his systems."

This technology goes back more than ten years. And given the open border national socialist policies of the Deep State to destroy the US, and our asymmetrical war with China, plus adversaries like Russia, this would be easy to show as a terrorist or foreign nation attack. The problem is tracing the perpetrators, because this is a spoof, and there is nothing real to latch on to.
