Suspect in Austin bombings killed, police say

Austin police say the suspect in the bombings that killed two people and injured more over the course of nearly three weeks has been killed. In a press conference on Wednesday morning, the police chief said that the suspect detonated a bomb inside the vehicle he was riding in as police approached. The suspect has been identified as a 24-year-old white male. One officer was injured when the bomb was detonated but he suffered minor injuries.
