Greedy or Needy?

Sometimes, you just got to release it and call it as you see it … let go and give ‘a little bit of welly’!! Whether it’s some relationship pique, or delving to the base of some other socially undermining irritants and/or political figures?!!

I was placing this in the Whimsical Collection, but felt it has merit in Transitional Times for now …. until we uncover all the clams!!

Poem wording:-

Greedy or Needy?

For what were you greedy?
What made you so needy?
Ego balm?
Money for sham?

Power? Prestige?
Some mock exam?!
At this point, I don’t give a damn.
You are a complete and utter clam!

A sham.
A ‘thing’ in a shell …
Glutenous … closed tight.
Underfoot, a real fright!

Tide swept to a rock,
clinging all night!!
Not forthright …
poor or no inner light.

A suckler to clean,
and contain, the sea’s
oceans bearing shite!!
That’s right!

No ‘inner might’,
a revealing sight,
sinuous! tough!
An unholy … little trite!
