Mental Health Systems Focus More On PROFIT

Not patients.
group therapy is cheaper for them. it's cheaper for them to rent small rooms. it's cheaper for them to crowd 12 people at a time into the rooms and spend only 45 minutes a session. individual therapy is more expensive because more time is spent and time is money. more room is rented and that cost money. one of the biggest complaints I've heard therapist tell me is that they have to pay the rent that's why they have to charge us so much. if it's private therapy anyway. going into depth and spending energy on dealing with someone's problems in depth especially individually cost more money.
it's a lot less expensive for the mental health system and the government to pay for 12 people to a group with 45 minutes of session in a small room.
