Ubisoft's New Generative AI

Ubisoft is asking the question, "Do you wish to have a conversation with a NPC?" Instead of pursuing speech trees, Ubisoft wishes to create actual NPC AI dialogue that would still stay narrative important to the story.

I personally would rather just have more options and different consequences for my actions, but AI conversations...what could go wrong?
