Sky News Australia | ‘Wonderful news’: UK High Court grants Julian Assange leave to appeal extradition. Sky News host Liz Storer says the latest development in Julian Assange’s fight against his extradition to the US is “wonderful news”. BUT its not over yet.
The UK High Court has granted the WikiLeaks founder leave to appeal his extradition.
“Any confidence in the justice system in America right now is at an all-time low,” Ms Storer said.
“We knew that Assange was never going to get a fair hearing in the States.
“They want to lock him up for 175 years if they get their way.”
