In Chapter 13, we study God's instructions to remember the Passover. The firstborn of all men and beasts of the Israelites, are none other that God alone. He had protected them from His wrath, and now they are to be dedicated to Him. We learn of the feast of unleavened bread, the laws pertaining to the firstborn, and God's call to His people to leave Egypt under His guidance and protection.
