On Monday, 25 MAR 24, on New Paradigms with Sargis Sangari, Episode #188, Ms. #ClareLopez, senior advisory board member of Near East Center for Strategic Engagement, The Director of U.S. Geostrategic Security Issues for #NECSE, the Founder/President of #LopezLiberty LLC, and former #CIA #Clandestine Operations Officer, joins me to discuss America's #Geostrategic #Security Issues.

We focus on the Terror Attacks in #Moscow, its effects on the Ukraine-Russian War, and U.S. abstention on a U.N. resolution to call for a ceasefire in #Gaza.

Four men accused of staging the Russia concert hall attack that killed more than 130 people appeared before a Moscow court Sunday. U.S. had warned Russia about the attacks from ISIS-K a few weeks ago.

Russia has used the attacks as a means to increase its attacks against #Ukraine as the #French have indicated that they may commit ground troops to Ukraine and as the #Poland has been placed on high alert as a Russian missile has crossed into their territory.

Also, today, the U.S. did not use its veto power, allowing the resolution to pass by the council's ten elected members, as Mozambique's representative proposed in the chamber. Russia attempted to amend the text by restoring it to an earlier draft that included the word "permanent," but the bid failed. Fourteen members of the U.N. Security Council voted for the resolution, while the U.S. abstained. Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, had threatened to cancel a planned delegation to Washington if the U.S. did not exercise its veto.

Finally, we will focus on how all these issues and topics point to the backyard wars around the globe fought between Iran, Russia, China, the U.S., Israel, and their allies and proxies and the effects on U.S. long-term security through the Southern border.
