The FIFA World Cup is the best tournament of all, in any sport, and we are currently in that dark time between competitions. The last one was possibly the best ever, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup will have a lot to do to beat it. But is there a way to find out if it will?

Well, in this long-term Football Manager 2024 simulation experiment, we will try to find out! What this series will do, is simulate every single match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on FM24, starting out from the first round of Asian Qualifying, all the way through to the World Cup Final itself. We will see every goal, every miss, every red card and everything in between; this will be a Football Manager World Cup simulation series like no other!

In this video, we have a repeat of the 1930 Final as holders Argentina take on their old enemy in Uruguay. Argentina have had a tough start to qualifying, taking only two draws from their opening two games, whilst Uruguay are unbeaten and second only on goal difference.
