How are we saved? What do we need saving from, exactly? And what, if any, is our role in the process of salvation? In this FRESHImage Presents, Tony Crescio (@anthonycrescio) takes Fr. Teilhard de Chardin's poem, "Patient Trust," as a point of departure in order to discuss how our very existence speaks to a desire for salvation. Then, drawing from the thoughts of St. Augustine of Hippo and St. Maximus the Confessor, Tony explains how it is precisely by sharing in the Paschal Mystery of Christ that our life this side of eternity becomes a pilgrimage of deification.
