Israeli forces have launched "violent" ground and air attacks on Khan Younis and bombed homes in Rafah and Deir el-Balah, killing at least 15 Palestinians, according to media reports. United Nations chief Guterres says delivering the necessary aid to famine-threatened Gaza "requires Israel removing the remaining obstacles and chokepoints to relief", adding that the only effective and efficient way is by road. Speaking during a visit to Egypt, Guterres said that the deliveries should also include an exponential increase in commercial deliveries. "The daily assault on the human dignity of Palestinians is creating a crisis of credibility for the international community," he said.
