4 accused in Russia concert hall attack appear in court, apparently badly beaten

Four individuals accused of orchestrating the Russia concert hall attack, resulting in the deaths of over 130 individuals, were presented before a Moscow court on Sunday, exhibiting evident signs of severe physical abuse as they confronted formal terrorism accusations.

During the hearing, one of them seemed to be barely conscious.

According to a court announcement, following their arraignment, two of the accused acknowledged their involvement in the assault.

However, concerns were raised about the sincerity of their admissions due to the condition in which they appeared, CBS News reported.
