17.03.24 - Hundreds of demonstrators marched from the Palais-Royal to the Place de Fontenoy in Paris on Saturday to protest against French involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, after President Emmanuel Macron repeatedly suggested troops could be deployed.

Footage shows protesters marching with French flags, banners, and signs reading 'For Peace,' 'No to World War 3' and 'Let's get out of NATO.' Demonstrators could also be heard chanting 'Macron, we don't want your war.'

"We have no right not to seek peace. We are faced with a conflict where there are nuclear powers, so it could go away at any time. It could go wrong at any time, so we have no right not to seek peace," Florian Philippot, president of the nationalist Patriots political party, said.
