John 13:35 New King James Version
35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!
You know guys, I really love this particular passage of scripture, because it has a several fold purpose and meaning. To start with, it's a parable, but it's also a prophetic parable. It's a parable in which Jesus tells a future event that will happen, and it's also and encouragement and motivation for us who are genuine followers of Jesus to want to and continue to show love to others in this lost and dying world. I also get very challenged with this passage of scripture, because I often find it very difficult to show love to others, especially those that are not in my circle of influence. In particular, I find it very hard to show love to an LGBTQ person, but over the years God has been showing me how to do that and helping me to help them so that they see Christ in me.

What I'd like to do tonight, my friends, is share some things that God has shown me from this passage of scripture, through this vlog I’d like to share with all of you tonight, and i pray that what i share with you will challenge, motivate, and light a fire under your behind, to want to show your love for god by loving others. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn the valuable truth of how when we show love to others, we love God! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will open your heart and your eyes to this important truth.

How might you serve Jesus in your community today?

How can you love God by loving others in your path?

I want to challenge you guys with something today, and I pray that you'll accept it. I want to challenge you to think of ways/people that you could show the love of Jesus to, that you normally wouldn't. How about being willing to reach out to that single mom, who's struggling to make ends meet. How about taking in or reaching out to that young teenage girl who's been kicked out by her parents because she's pregnant, scared, and people are pressuring her, including her family, to get an abortion! Reach out to that LGBTQ person, who feels lost, alone, and abandoned, and let them know that they are loved by an almighty God, who can set them free from their sinful lifestyle! What I'm trying to say right now guys, is that I want you to ask God to open your eyes to the needs of others around you, no matter who they think they are, their race, skin color, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, etc., and help them. I believe that when God does prompt us to sacrificially invest in the needs of these people, we truly serve Him. Bottom line guys, as Eliza Morgan this morning's devotional writer stated so well, “When we love others, we love God.” So let's start doing so!

UNTIL TUESDAY:

HAVE A MAJESTICALLY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
