Stellantis is announcing they will lay off 400 white-collar employees in the U.S.

The automaker says the cuts will affect engineering, technology and software division employees. The automaker says the cuts are to help them maintain a competitive advantage amid the electric vehicle transition. The layoffs account for two percent of workers in the United States.
