FEMA says two Disaster Recovery Centers will be open starting today

The recovery centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They are set up to help people who were impacted by severe weather that hit the southern part of the Lower Peninsula last August. FEMA says the deadline to apply for federal disaster assistance is April 8.
