Windshield Repair Kit, Is It Worth the Money and Time?

This video walks you through the install of a windshield repair kit bought off the internet. I had hoped this would have been a quick easy way to fix little chips in my windshield but it looks like these kits are gimmick based and don't resolve the issue of minor chips.
