Since that time I discovered that Llewellyn's Spiritual Almanac has listed September 11th as the Coptic (Egyptian Christian) New Year, and that this was a symbol to the occultists as to the ignorance of the Coptic Christians, since they didn't understand the Egyptian cosmology and how it played into Astronomical Cycles and their worship patterns. They may have settled, perhaps, on September 11 when merging their lunar and solar systems, or with the observation that due to precession, Sirius had changed in height relative to other astrological factors of the seasons (Perhaps it may have been at it's maximum height during the Summer Solstice at one point but had drifted. I obviously need experts to weigh in on this topic because I haven't studied it in any detail whatever.)
