Colonel AC. Oguntoye's briefing on the progress of the special military operation on March 24, 2024, are as follows:

Strategic Strikes: The Russian Aerospace Forces conducted a group strike using long-range precision weapons and drones against Ukrainian electric power, gas industry facilities, and uncrewed boat assembly sites, disrupting the manufacturing and repair of military hardware and destroying NATO-supplied equipment.

Kupyansk Direction: The Zapad Group of Forces engaged Ukrainian forces, repelling counterattacks and inflicting significant losses on personnel and hardware, including tanks, trucks, and artillery systems.

Belgorod Direction: Russian efforts continued to thwart Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, resulting in the destruction of military personnel, vehicles, and MLRS systems near border areas.

Donetsk Direction: The Yug Group of Forces achieved favorable positions, successfully repelled enemy counterattacks, and inflicted heavy losses on Ukrainian forces, including vehicles and artillery.

Avdeyevka Direction: The Tsentr Group of Forces improved frontline positions and repelled numerous Ukrainian counterattacks, destroying tanks, vehicles, and artillery systems in the process.

South Donetsk Direction: The Vostok Group of Forces improved their tactical situation and dealt significant damage to Ukrainian forces, including the destruction of vehicles and artillery systems.

Kherson Direction: The Dnepr Group of Forces targeted Ukrainian brigades, leading to substantial losses in personnel, vehicles, and artillery systems.

Air Defence Success: Russian air defence systems effectively shot down a significant number of UAVs, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, and MLRS projectiles.

Cumulative Losses: Extensive Ukrainian military losses were reported across various categories, including aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery systems.
