Staying Vigilant and Always Praising

I trust my wife to get us to our destination when she's driving us somewhere we have never been, because she is smarter and better at directions than me, but I still look out the window, because I want to learn how to get there on my own next time. That's kind of how it is in our lives. God is in control, and I trust in him to take me where he wants me to go, but I still stay sober and vigilant like he commanded, and try to learn how to navigate the spicy seas next time. I also praise my wife and tell her how smart she is all of the time, and I also praise God for all the little things he does for me everyday. God's is the only perfect leader, and he is deserving of our praise for all the little things he does in our lives everyday, and not only when he sees us through a storm.
